WHCN Chairperson – Deborah Ziebarth
 

Deborah Ziebarth manages the Community Benefit department of Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals and oversees operations at the Hispanic Community Health Resource Center. She holds her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Community Health and Nursing Education from Cardinal Stritch University. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Nurse’s Association and is the Education Programming Chair of the Wisconsin Parish Nurse Coalition. In addition to her management work in community outreach nursing, Mrs. Ziebarth’s professional experience includes 13 years as a clinical ICU nurse, a parish nurse, and an outreach nurse. She has published several articles for the WPNC Newsletter and Creative Nursing Journal and presented at several regional sites on the topic of community-based nursing. She also published Policies and Procedures for the Ministry of Parish Nursing Practice and Parish Nursing: Development, Education, and Administration. She served as a missionary nurse in Somalia, East Africa from 1987 – 1990.
