Communication Action Team Chair - Julia Steffen

Julia Steffen is the Health Promoter Program Coordinator at the Hispanic Community Health Resource Center, a department of Waukesha Memorial Hospital, where she oversees the bilingual Health Promoter program. She is also Chair of the Communication Action Team and Co-Chair of the Hispanic Health Fair Action Team. She writes the Hispanic Community Health Resource Center’s quarterly Spanish newsletter, Bienestar. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Riobamba, Ecuador from 2003-2005, where she helped to organize medical missions and taught reproductive health education.
