Mrs. Deeken is employed by Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a Community Outreach Nurse at White Rock Elementary school, which serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking community. Ms. Deeken is also member of the Board of Directors for the Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic. She is a steering committee member of the Hispanic Collaborative Network and serves as co-chair of the Waukesha Hispanic Health Fair Committee. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Wisconsin, Madison and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA in 1986. She is a member of the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau, and a member of the American Nurses Association.
